SLA - Service Level Agreement

Service Level Agreement

TheDotComDepot believes that your websites, email and databases should always be protected against unscheduled outages. Our commitment to you is that every effort will be made to keep your sites online.

TheDotComDepot's site, powered by state of the art web server clusters and enterprise technology, is built to be highly reliable and robust.

In the event of your website being unavailable, we'll credit you with the equivalent of 1 day's hosting fee for each 60 minutes of unscheduled downtime (up to ONE MONTH MAXIMUM). It doesn't matter why; If your website, email or databases are offline or not functioning as a result of a failure in our systems, data center, or network is considered downtime, and we begin counting from the minute you report it to us.

As an example, if your website is UNAVAILABLE for one day (24 hours) then we would credit you ONE DAY FOR EVERY HOUR, to a maximum credit per incident of ONE MONTH. In other words, you are entitled to a credit of $31.20. ($39.00 divide by 30 days = $1.30 per day) When you multiply the 24 hours by the daily rate, you arrive at $31.20 (24 hours x 1.30 daily rate). The MAXIMUM CREDIT per incident is ONE MONTH FEES; No EXCEPTIONS.

That's it— our SLA to be simple. Please note that the TheDotComDepot's SLA does not cover occasional scheduled maintenance windows that will affect the availability of some services. We'll advise you in advance of scheduled maintenance before it happens, and since we operate clusters of servers, maintenance that causes downtime should be rare.
